Health Forecasts, Combat Flow, and Adventure Fixes
Health bars now preview shields and incoming healing, combat and pet controls respond more consistently, and dozens of fixes improve loot, chat, character presentation, quests, trading, and the launcher.
New
- Health bars now preview active shields and incoming healing for your character, party members, and nearby units.
- Inspect another player from their character menu to view their equipped gear with normal item tooltips.
- Use /who to find online characters by name, class, level, or zone.
- Solo players can now place and see their own pings; party pings keep their existing audience.
- Windows launcher and game client downloads are now digitally signed by the verified publisher.
Combat and Classes
- Offensive melee abilities now begin continuing attacks when appropriate, without requiring a separate Attack press.
- Melee and ranged weapon transitions are more responsive while preserving automatic distance-based weapon choice.
- Ground-targeted spells now place their preview and cast more reliably on slopes and dungeon floors.
- Casting and channeling now prevent dodge, parry, and shield block until the action ends.
- Eligible creature attacks from behind can visibly Daze and slow players again.
- Maintained spells such as Footnote and Mesmerize now replace their oldest controlled target when their target cap is reached.
- Assist pets engage legal targets from offensive spells, Follow recalls an attacking pet immediately, and two pets adjust formation sides without unnecessary crossing.
- NPCs prioritize eligible active casts over chasing, face close-range targets more consistently, and preserve pursuit when control breaks during an active fight.
- Return's icon and cooldown now agree with its actual cast eligibility, and landing from small cliffs no longer leaves casting stuck.
- Learning or removing Mastery spells now updates action bars immediately, including automatic placement for new standalone Keystone spells.
- Necromancer Revive now works on eligible, fully looted wolf and boar corpses.
- Shapers can reliably reshape an active golem, with refreshed golem scale, presentation, and combat animation coverage.
Items, Loot, and Trading
- Ordinary combat now causes light wear on equipped durable gear, and PvE death wear varies slightly around its existing baseline without changing on retry.
- Quest items survive full bags and refused actions, require confirmation before destruction, and remain obtainable again from their normal source.
- The G interaction key now honors Auto Loot and its Shift reversal, matching mouse interaction.
- Chest loot reveals its final affixes before players roll or claim it, and group-roll items support equipped-item comparison.
- Group rolls now reach nearby participating party members more consistently, keep long item names inside the window, and use standard item-border thickness.
- Quest rewards now explain upgrades into empty slots and let dual-wielding players compare weapon rewards against either hand.
- Broker browsing now includes dedicated Spellbooks and Recipes categories, hides junk from the listing picker, and names purchased items in chat.
- Hargan's repair flow no longer rejects valid affordable repairs with a false price-change error.
- Bread now restores mana as well as health, and damage-over-time ticks no longer interrupt an eating activity already in progress.
Interface and Social
- Shift-clicking supported items opens or preserves the chat composer, inserts the item link, and keeps keyboard focus ready.
- Chat-link tooltips open near the upper screen center, and each of the five inspection windows remembers its own dragged position.
- Long chat drafts stay inside the composer, scrolling follows complete rendered lines, and passive messages fade only after a readable dwell.
- Sending chat while a movement key is held no longer turns that held key into movement until it is released and pressed again.
- AFK status now supports manual and idle activation, clears on activity, appears socially, and replies to whispers without logging the player out.
- Party departure messages retain the departing character's name after a relog or disconnect.
- Ability tooltips avoid covering nearby abilities when space is available, and pet-behavior tooltips dismiss correctly after pointer use.
- Bag stack counts, loot-feed hover areas, quest-reward rows, spell summaries, login access-key fields, and UI scale recovery are clearer and easier to use.
- Unexpected game-server loss now returns players to login while preserving saved authentication tokens and preventing an immediate automatic re-entry.
Presentation and Audio
- Character creation has improved class presentation, narration, rotation controls, equipment previews, and animation transitions.
- Players and NPCs now fade smoothly into and out of view, while dead NPC names remain readable above corpses until they disappear.
- Work, mining, and gathering animations continue for the full interaction, dance sessions rotate naturally, and combat-ready animation transitions are more responsive.
- Jump grunts have been removed, damage-over-time ticks no longer repeat hurt grunts, and the level-up cue is substantially louder while respecting volume settings.
- Two-handed weapons stay clear of the face while eating, and promoted helms hide only the hair regions their geometry actually covers.
- Default gameplay no longer shows colored edge distortion, preserving the accepted lighting and color direction.
